Massive Solutions was re-incorporated in May 2007 as a nonresident Gibraltar company.

The intention of having the company registered in a tax-exempt zone was to create employment for available R&D (research and development) human resources and to develop a pool of highly interwoven technologies that opened the road to the implementation of various ambitious projects in

  • HPC (high-performance computing)
  • cloud computing
  • scalable OLTP (on-line transaction processing)
  • scalable OLAP (on-line analytical processing)
  • real-time system monitoring and management

Founders of the company have always been of the strong opinion, based on their previous experience and understanding of the field, that technologies capable of solving a scope of problems like this should be developed jointly in one place, otherwise human and money resources will be inevitably diffused.
An experimental start point for the company was the implementation of a scalable social gaming service adapted for accessing from cell phones. An initial pool of specific technologies was developed and tried on this platform. The technologies, too numerous to be listed here and ranging from security to integration with social networks, were crucial for implementing the cloud-based, massive mobile services under the trade name Life4Fun.
In 2008, Massive Solutions officially affiliated a branch of activities that comprised the engineering, installation, setup, expert evaluation of supercomputing systems in Ukraine. People who carried out those activities had had eight years of experience with virtually all supercomputer installations that existed in the country, including clusters that just began to emerge. For three preceding years they were part of a Ukrainian entity with the same management as that of Massive Solutions, and then joined the company as its team members.
An exponential growth followed. Important among the today's activities of the company is the elaboration of a peculiar monetization model for converting IP (intellectual property) entities into paying businesses.

Owners • • • • •

The company has been established by two co-founders that own 50% shares each, with the intention to become a public one in the upcoming future and thus leave the tax-exempt zone.
The co-owners of the company, Viktor Sovietov and Dmytro Fedyukov, have more than 15 years of the IT business experience. The nature of their earlier activities help them combine efficient management approaches from the military, civil, and governmental projects.

Team • • • • •

As of 2010, the technological pool is being developed by a team of 30 experienced engineers, and the number is growing.
One of the management's main concerns is to maintain and improve the proficiency of the staff by employing persons known for their competence in the field. This ensures performance, efficiency, predictable results, a minimal turnover of the staff.
Importantly, up to now there have been no layoffs in the company.
